Lou Grabowsky is Co-founder and Managing Director of Dallas-based Juniper Capital Management LLC, a financial sponsor that provides capital to high growth potential, but under-resourced, entrepreneurial companies based in the U.S. The firm invests in the form of equity and debt in amounts ranging from $5 to $20 million to support entrepreneurs in full and partial recapitalizations, growth financings, generational transitions and buyouts.
Lou has led and advised management teams and boards of directors in achieving their business strategies, improving performance and advancing key governance practices for over 30 years. Most recently, he strategically guided Grant Thornton LLP as its Chief Operating Officer during the most severe financial crisis since the Great Depression, culminating in the firm achieving its highest level of net revenues and income up to this point in its history. He led a corporate capital restructuring and has participated in IPOs, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other major capital-raising activities.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree in accounting, Lou currently serves as Chair of the Penn State Smeal College Board of Visitors. He is also a member of several corporate boards of directors, including Griffon Corporation, Cambrex Corporation, and Riveron Consulting, each listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
