Isaac Pino is a portfolio manager at Huckleberry Capital. He also supports the investment work at Climate Optimize.
He is an avid investor in private and public companies that follow a simple idea: They create value for all of the stakeholders involved, including customers, suppliers, employees, communities, shareholders, and even the environment, which is often referred to as the “silent” stakeholder.
It’s for this reason that Isaac works with individuals at The Collider to better understand the connection between businesses and a changing climate.
Isaac cut his teeth in stock-picking at The Motley Fool, where he penned more than 1,000 articles on investing. He recognized over time that the top-performing portfolio managers in-house were those taking stakeholder theory into consideration.
He joined his current firm, Huckleberry Capital, after managing wealth for a sustainable farming family in Oregon. Prior to his investment work, Isaac was a consultant at Deloitte and AlixPartners.
