MARCH 16 - 25: ARTISTS AT ASHEVILLE GALLERY OF ART SHARE A PERSONAL RESPONSE TO CLIMATE CHANGE THROUGH ART.
Throughout the Asheville Gallery of Art, selected original paintings will be coupled with words shared by the artists regarding climate issues and stewardship of our earth. The Gallery is open Monday – Saturday, from 11 am – 6 pm, and Sunday from 1 – 4 pm.
“It’s been said that ‘pictures are worth a thousand words’ and artists can keep the public aware of the beauty around us,” shares Sally Lordeon, one of the gallery’s 31 member artists.
Guests are invited to browse the gallery, located just down the street from The Collider in the Capital Center at 82 Patton Ave., downtown Asheville.
Founded in 1988, Asheville Gallery of Art is a cooperative of 31 artists.
